The simple rules for using DoodleNook. Grown-ups, please read them with your child.
Last updated: 1 November 2026
🦉 The rules in kid words
- Have fun, learn lots and be kind.
- Ask a grown-up before making an account.
- Pick a nickname that is not your real name and is kind to others.
- Keep your secret pictures secret.
- Coins in My World are pretend. They are not real money.
1. Accepting these terms
By using DoodleNook (doodlenookkids.com), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. DoodleNook is made for children aged 4–10 using it with the permission of a parent, guardian or teacher. Grown-ups are responsible for their child's use of the site.
2. Free to use
DoodleNook is free. There are no in-app purchases, and coins, stars and items in games such as My World are pretend rewards with no real-world value. We may add, change or remove games and features at any time.
3. Accounts
- Accounts are optional and are only for saving game progress.
- A parent or guardian should help a child create an account.
- Nicknames must not be a real full name, contact details, or anything rude, unkind or misleading. We may change or remove nicknames that break this rule.
- Keep the 4 secret pictures private. If you forget them, we cannot show them to you because we only store them in scrambled form.
- You can delete an account at any time from the account button, or by emailing us. We may remove accounts that are misused or not used for a long time.
4. Printable pages and content
The games, pictures, coloring pages, text and design of DoodleNook belong to DoodleNook. You may:
- Print and copy our coloring pages and printables for personal, family and classroom use, free of charge.
- Keep, print and share drawings your child makes in the Art Studio and Coloring Book.
- Link to any page on DoodleNook and share it with other families and teachers.
Please do not sell our printables or pictures, upload them to other websites or apps as your own, or use them in products for sale without our written permission.
5. Using the site fairly
Please don't try to break, overload or hack the website, create large numbers of accounts, access other people's accounts, or copy the site's code or content in bulk. We may block access for anyone who misuses DoodleNook.
6. Learning content
We work hard to make our questions, facts and answers accurate and suitable for children, but mistakes can happen. DoodleNook is a fun learning aid and does not replace a teacher or a school curriculum. If you spot a mistake, please tell us at info@doodlenookkids.com.
7. Availability and liability
DoodleNook is provided "as is", free of charge. We do our best to keep it running and to keep saved progress safe, but we cannot promise the site will always be available or error-free, or that saved progress will never be lost. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using, or not being able to use, the site. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.
8. Other websites
Some buttons for grown-ups, such as sharing to WhatsApp or Facebook, open other websites. We are not responsible for those websites, and their own terms apply.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use DoodleNook means you accept the updated terms.
