๐ŸŽฏ How to play

  1. Look at which bulbs are on.
  2. Add up their values.
  3. Pick the number they make.

๐Ÿง  What children learn

  • Binary numbers
  • Place value
  • How computers store information

๐Ÿ“ˆ How the levels get harder

Level 1 has 2 bulbs and each level adds one more. From level 4 the bulb values are hidden, so children use the doubling rule: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16. Children need 60% right to unlock the next level and can earn up to three stars on each one. Progress is saved on the device, or in a free account made with just a nickname and four secret pictures.

Computer Club introduces children to computing without any installs or sign-ups. Kids write step-by-step code to guide a robot, learn the parts of a computer and handy keyboard shortcuts, count in binary with light bulbs, and practise staying safe and kind online. It is a gentle first step into coding for ages 5 to 10.
